In my personal time, I am kept busy with 4 children, a husband and activities in my local parish.

Nursing Team
(PN) Mrs Jane Dowell
BSc, RHV, DN, RGN
I trained as a Registered General Nurse from 1986 at St Bartholomews' hospital. After qualifying in 1989 I then worked as a staff nurse on the urology, ENT and gynae wards and also spent a bit of time co-ordinating the IVF treatments. From 1992 to 1995 I did a BSc in Community Nursing at Kings College London University which also gave me qualifications in health visiting and district nursing. Following that I spent the next 5 years working as health visitor and an elderly care co-ordinator in Bermondsey, a very enjoyable challenging area. I have always enjoyed working closely with GP surgeries and jumped at the chance when a practice nurse position became available in Bermondsey in 2001 and I've been practice nursing ever since, joining Rushey Green Group Practice in 2005. Although this job is wide ranging my specialised areas are COPD and asthma. I am also able to prescribe and have started to manage patients with minor ailments.
I live locally with my family in Brockley and you might see me cycling around or out walking my dog. I'm just about to start tennis improver lessons, wish me luck!
(PN) Mrs Ann Enright

I have now been working as a practice nurse since 1994 and have been at Rushey Green Group Practice for 10 years. My interests are in diabetes, travel , family planning and immunisation.
When not working I am a busy mum trying to find a bit of spare time to enjoy the gardening and go for a swim. I also help out at a mothers and toddlers group and help run junior Sunday school at a local Baptist Church.
