The receptionist will be able to give you your test results only if they have been seen and acted upon by a clinician. You should be prepared to identify yourself and be able to give information on what the test was for and when it was carried out. This is in order to protect your privacy.

If the clinician has not yet seen your results you will be called back within 48 hours. If your result is abnormal or the clinician wishes to discuss the results with you, a receptionist will contact you to make an appointment.

Please do not call us to discuss test results until after 10.30am to minimise the number of phone calls and enquiries first thing when patients are trying to book appointments.

Due to patient confidentiality we are not able to give this information out to your friends or family so please do not ask them to contact us on your behalf.
